Amber Beattie

Amber Beattie is an English actress and singer. She is most well known for her main role as Lulu Baker in a CBBC programme called 'Jinx' although she has also appeared in 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' as Gretel.
Amber was born on 22nd July 1993 in the United Kingdom. Her first ever television/film appearance was in 2005 although in 2003 she appeared in a MiniCrunch Weetabix advert on the television.
In 2005 she played Katie in a short film called 'Walking to Nairobi' and later in 2007 she was in a TV film called 'Empathy' playing a girl called Amy. Then in 2008 she played Gretel in 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas' and in that same year she played Emma Gray in 'The Bill' for one episode. In 2009 she played Lulu Baker in 'Jinx' and Sarah Denton in 'Doctors' for just one episode. She was in a short documentary called 'Friendship Beyond the Fence' in 2009 but that was non fictional so she was just herself! For one episode she played Mowita Sarson in 'Casualty' in 2010. She was a girl in 'Mongrels' for an episode in 2010 too. Also in 2010 she was in 'The Sarah Jane Adventures' as Lady Jane Grey for two episodes. I think she is a great actress and in all the things I have seen her in, she has been fantastic!

Georgia Lock

This post is all about Georgia Lock, hence the title, who is an English teenage actress and presenter! She stars in a children's television programme on CBBC called Sadie J. She also presents alongside Tyger Drew-Honey, Ceallach Spellman, Richard Wisker, Dionne Bromfield and Aidan Davis on a programme called Friday Download which is also on CBBC.

Georgia was born on 25th October 1996 and in 2010 she was cast as the main character in Sadie J. She appeared in all episodes of Friday Download series 1 but only 9 out of 13 in series 2 because she was filming for Sadie J! She recorded the theme song for Sadie J, In a Boy's World', but only a shortened version of the song is used on the programme. In 2011 Sadie J was nominated for the Children's BAFTA in the category of Best Comedy. Also, in that same year, Friday Download was nominated for the Children's BAFTA in the category of Best Entertainment.
I love both of the programmes that are mentioned above because they are really funny and I think Georgia is great in them both. She is perfect for the role of Sadie and the programme wouldn't e the same if someone else was playing the role.
Thank you very much for reading this entry and I hope you enjoyed it.
